Irish Ayes

Irish Ayes is Father Ryan’s largest publication, produced twice times a year. The magazine acts as the school’s primary communications piece with all of its audiences, aiming to inform them about school achievements and events, encourage event attendance, volunteerism and donations, promote awareness of Father Ryan as a leader in Catholic education, and gather information about alumni.

Distributed to over 9,000 addresses, the magazine has succeeded in being the most thorough source of information about student and faculty achievements, athletic updates, event details and alumni updates.

 

With information about events and giving opportunities, alumni attendance and overall giving have both increased. More out-of-state alumni have attended events. The 2010-2011 Annual Fund also exceeded its goal amount by 8%; alumni participation increased from 6% to 9% and the alumni donor list surpassed 1,000 for the first time at 1,202 alumni contributions.

 

 

Irish Ayes is frequently shown to prospective families during the Admissions Process to promote awareness of its students’ level of achievement. Enrollment increased from 915 to 940 in 2011.

 

The magazine regularly features Class Notes, a section of brief updates on alumni submitted by alumni, their friends or family. These submissions help Father Ryan update their database with contact information, consequently improving the accuracy of and expanding the distribution of Irish Ayes and other mailings.
